The point of this light is that it will attach to almost anything on a yard. A built-in clamp grips a stable door, a rail or a shelf; a magnetic base sticks to a trailer wall, a gate frame or the side of a lorry; and with neither in use it stands on its own on a flat surface. The head then rotates through a full 360°, so once it is mounted you aim the beam rather than moving the light.

Power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery charged over USB-C, with two brightness settings. Woof Wear quote 1 hour on high and 3.5 hours on low, which is worth knowing before you commit it to a long job — the 3.5 hour figure is the low setting, not the bright one. It carries an IP44 rating, so it copes with splashes and rain but is not built to be hosed or submerged.

How to Use

• Charge fully over USB-C with the supplied cable before first use.
• Choose one mounting method: clamp to a door edge or rail, place the magnet against clean bare steel, or stand it on a level surface.
• Rotate the head to aim the beam, then switch between the high and low settings.
• Use low for long jobs and high only when you need it, to make the charge last.
• Wipe clean only.

• IP44 means splash resistant, not waterproof. Do not hose it, submerge it or leave it standing in water.
• Charge on a dry, non-combustible surface, away from hay, straw and bedding.
• Check the magnet holds before letting go, and clamp rather than magnet-mount above a stable a horse can reach — a light that falls into bedding is both a fire risk and something to be trodden on.
• Recycle at an electrical waste point at end of life; do not put it in household waste.
