ABOUT US

Once upon a time in 2001, on a humble patch of land called Crown Corner, the first Animall store threw open its doors to the public.

Back then, it was a far cry from the bustling shop you see today. Founded by farmer Scott Bird, Animall was started with a simple mission: to offer customers quality products with first-class customer service – all at competitive prices.

Fast forward to 2016, and Animall spread its wings, setting up shop at the busy Foxholes Farm complex in Hertford.

This store has grown year on year and moved into a bigger and much improved unit in October 2024 in order to expand its offering. Not one to rest on its laurels, Animall made another leap, taking over the Littlebury site from the iconic Stalleys Barn in 2019, cementing its place in the hearts of Essex and Hertfordshire locals.

From our rural roots to our growing family of stores, Animall isn’t just a business. So, whether you’ve been with us since the Crown Corner days or you’re just discovering what we’re all about, welcome to the Animall family. Here’s to many more years of wagging tails, happy hooves and satisfied customers! In 2024 we have taken the bold move to take Animall online! We want to offer the same exacting customer service levels and product range, but open this up to the masses. The online team is made up of animal experts and can answer any questions you might have, so do get in touch.

A Brief History

1987

Animall Started Trading

Animall has been trading since 1987 via various rental units in Essex, UK.

2001

Animall Brentwood

Our first main store was Crown Corner in Brentwood and was rented from 2001 and purchased in 2006. Since then, Crown Corner has been one of our busiest stores and we have built up a large customer base who have been supporting us for many years.

2015

Animall Hertford

Animall Hertford came next and was formed in November 2015. This store is based next to a popular family farm park and has a large equine customer base.

2019

Animall Littlebury

Our newest store is based in Littlebury and is surrounded by stunning English countryside and a stones throw away from Audley End.
