Verm-X Original Pellets for Poultry – 250g

Verm-X Original Pellets are a herbal supplement for chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys, described by Verm-X as a monthly supplement to restore and maintain gut vitality. The pellets are made with 100% natural active ingredients — cinnamon, garlic, thyme, peppermint, fennel, cleavers, nettles, slippery elm, quassia and cayenne — on a wheat meal base.

It is fed as a short course rather than every day: a top dressing on the normal ration for three consecutive days each month, and it can be used all year round. Verm-X state there are no chemicals in the product, so eggs can still be eaten while it is being fed. At 2.5g per bird for three days, the 250g size covers a small backyard flock for several months.

Feeding

• Add as a top dressing to the regular feed ration.
• Feed for three consecutive days each month.
• Verm-X recommend a faecal egg count before starting, a follow-up count 21 days after the last feeding day, and faecal checks at least twice a year.
• Keep fresh water available at all times.
