Symply Puppy Fuel Turkey 12kg

Symply Puppy Fuel Turkey Dry Puppy Food, 12kg

Puppy Fuel is Symply's growth recipe, built on turkey, and this is the 12kg bag. A growing dog eats a surprising amount for its size, and in a large breed the bag will go down faster than you expect through the months where the frame is going on.

The copy previously on this page said the food contains no diary or soya. That was a typo for dairy, and rather than repeat a claim about ingredients we could not check against Symply's own published composition, this page points you to the bag.

Performance & Benefits

• Turkey as the named meat, which tends to be easy on a young digestion
• Symply's growth formulation rather than an adult recipe fed in larger amounts
• 12kg bag, which makes sense for a large breed puppy or a litter
• Kibble that can be softened with warm water while a puppy is very young
• One recipe through the whole of growth rather than changing every few weeks
• Same food as the 2kg bag, at the bulk price

Suitable For

• Puppies through weaning and growth
• Large breed puppies, which get through a bag quickly
• Breeders feeding a litter from one bag
• Owners already settled on the food and buying ahead
• Not for adult maintenance — the Symply adult dry recipes are the ones to move onto once growth has finished

Feeding

• Symply print the daily amount for your puppy's age and expected adult weight on the 12kg bag; follow that rather than a figure from a retailer
• Weigh every meal — a growing puppy's ration changes often enough that guessing compounds quickly
• Feed three or four small meals a day while a puppy is young, dropping to two as it grows
• Change over across about a week, mixing an increasing share of Symply Puppy Fuel into whatever the breeder was feeding
• Soften the kibble with warm water for a very young puppy, and stop once it is chewing properly
• Fresh drinking water at all times

Composition & Analysis

• Symply's own published composition and analytical constituents for this recipe could not be retrieved at the time of writing, so no figures are reproduced here
• The composition, the analytical constituents and Symply's feeding guide are printed on the bag — read them before you move a dog onto it
• A claim of no diary or soya appeared in the copy previously on this page — a typo for dairy — and has not been carried over unverified
• A puppy's ration changes with age and weight, so re-read the chart on the bag every few weeks rather than settling on one amount
