Super Codlivine Complete Joint Supplement for Horses, 2.5kg
£25.45
Super Codlivine The Complete Supplement – 2.5kg
The Complete Supplement is Super Codlivine's general-purpose daily supplement, built around cod liver oil in a meal that goes into the normal bucket feed. It is the long-standing everyday product in the range rather than a targeted one, and it is bought as a routine addition to a forage-based diet.
Super Codlivine is a Battles brand, and Battles' own website could not be reached while this page was written — their security certificate does not match their domain. Their published composition, analysis and feeding rate could not therefore be verified, and rather than repeat figures taken from retail listings, none are quoted below. The feeding guide printed on the tub is the one to follow.
Performance & Benefits
- Cod liver oil based daily supplement, in a meal that mixes into a normal feed.
- Supplied in a 2.5kg tub, a practical size for one horse.
- A long-established name on British yards, fed as a routine addition rather than a short course.
- Fed daily alongside forage, not as a replacement for any part of the diet.
- A general supplement rather than a targeted joint, hoof or calming product.
Suitable For
- Horses and ponies on a forage-based diet, as a daily routine supplement.
- Owners who have fed Super Codlivine for years and want the same tub.
- Adding to any normal bucket feed.
- Not a joint supplement, despite the wording of the title on this listing — Super Codlivine make a separate product called The Joint Supplement, and that is the one to buy for joint support.
Feeding
- Follow the feeding guide printed on the tub.
- The manufacturer's website could not be reached to confirm the daily rate, so no figure is quoted here.
- Introduce gradually alongside the current feed, as with any new supplement.
- Mix thoroughly into a damp feed so it is not left in the bottom of the bucket.
- 2.5kg tub. How long it lasts depends on the rate given on the pack.
Composition & Analysis
- Super Codlivine describe The Complete Supplement as cod liver oil based. No fuller composition is quoted here.
- No typical analysis is stated here. The manufacturer's website was unreachable when this page was written and their published figures could not be confirmed.
- Figures appearing on retail listings have deliberately not been used.
- 2.5kg tub.
