Donut beds work because of how dogs actually sleep. Most curl, and a raised ring of filling all the way round gives them something to press into on every side — which is why an anxious dog will often settle in a donut when it will not settle on a flat mattress.

The Ellen pairs a textured faux fur border with a contrasting tweed outer cover, and lines the sleeping area with plush fur. Underneath, the filling is 100% recycled polyester combined with a fixed centre cushion — the detail that stops the middle flattening out under a dog that always lies in the same spot.

Care & Caution

• The whole bed is machine washable at 30°C.
• Do not bleach or tumble dry.
• Donut beds are measured across the outside — the sleeping well in the middle is considerably smaller, so size up if in doubt.
