Rosewood Soft Protection Medium Comb for Dogs & Cats
The middle comb of Rosewood’s three: fine 07500, medium 07501, coarse 07502. Medium spacing is the one that does most of the work in an ordinary household, close enough to catch small tangles but open enough not to stall in a normal coat.
Rosewood’s own description is short and honest — a medium comb with an ergonomic hand grip that removes knots and tangles. It is the comb to own if you are only going to own one.
Performance & Benefits
- Medium tooth spacing, the most generally useful of the three.
- Removes knots and tangles, which is the job Rosewood specify for it.
- Open enough to run through a normal coat without stalling.
- Ergonomic moulded hand grip for a secure hold.
- Doubles as a finishing comb after a coarse comb or a slicker.
Suitable For
- Dogs and cats with normal to moderately thick coats.
- Everyday coat maintenance and a quick check for tangles.
- Finishing after a brush or a coarse comb.
- Households wanting one comb rather than a set.
- Not enough tooth spacing for a heavy double coat in full moult — the Rosewood Soft Protection Undercoat Rake handles that.
How to Use
- Comb in the direction the coat lies, in short sections.
- Start at the ends and work back towards the skin as the teeth run free.
- Hold the hair above a knot so the pull is on your hand, not the skin.
- Clear hair from the teeth between sections.
- Wash in warm soapy water and dry before storing.
Specification
- Rosewood product code 07501.
- Medium tooth spacing. One of three Soft Protection combs: fine 07500, medium 07501, coarse 07502.
- Ergonomic hand grip moulded into the handle.
- Rosewood publish no overall length, tooth count or material, so none is stated here.
