Pet Head Mucky Pup Puppy Spray – Prickly Pear, 300ml
This is the no-rinse member of the Mucky Pup puppy trio: sprayed onto the coat, brushed through and towel dried, with no bath and no water. Prickly pear seed oil and rosehip seed oil do the hydrating, chamomile extract settles young skin, and aloe vera and vegetable protein soften and strengthen the hair.
Puppies get dirty faster than they can safely be bathed, which is the whole point of this bottle. It freshens the coat on the days between washes, and because the routine is quick and dry it doubles as useful handling practice for a puppy that is still learning to stand still and be groomed.
Performance & Benefits
- Prickly pear seed oil hydrates and conditions.
- Rosehip seed oil moisturises and nourishes young skin.
- Chamomile extract soothes.
- Aloe vera softens and calms; vegetable protein strengthens the coat.
- No rinsing, no water — spray, brush, towel dry.
- 300ml trigger bottle, larger than the 250ml Mucky Pup conditioner.
Suitable For
- Puppies between baths.
- Freshening a coat when a full wash is not practical.
- Getting a puppy used to being handled and brushed.
- Not a cleaner — a properly dirty puppy needs the Mucky Pup shampoo and a bath.
How to Use
- Spray onto the coat, keeping the bottle well away from the face.
- Brush through.
- Towel dry. No rinsing needed.
- Use as often as the coat needs freshening.
Specification
- 300ml. No-rinse spray for puppies.
- Key ingredients: prickly pear seed oil, rosehip seed oil, chamomile extract, aloe vera, vegetable protein.

- Shelf life 18 months after opening.
- Company of Animals publish the key ingredients only; the full ingredient list is printed on the bottle, so it is not reproduced here.
Care & Caution

- Stop using it if the skin reddens or the puppy scratches more afterwards.
