Omega Equine Respirair – Horse Respiratory Supplement 925g
£24.25
Omega Equine Respirair – 925g
Respirair is a respiratory blend built on linseed meal with MSM, garlic, ginger, seaweed, turmeric, mint, aloe vera and eucalyptus and peppermint oils. Omega declare vitamin C at 31,000mg/kg and vitamin E at 8,160iu/kg — genuinely high levels, and the part of the formula they link to immune support.
It is fed at two 11g scoops a day for a horse and one for a pony, so this 925g pot covers about 42 days on a horse or 84 on a pony. Omega state Respirair is competition legal.
Performance & Benefits
- Vitamin C at 31,000mg/kg and vitamin E at 8,160iu/kg.
- Peppermint and spearmint, which Omega say soothe the airways, and eucalyptus as a decongestant.
- MSM and turmeric, which Omega link to lung integrity and healthy tissue.
- Ginger for circulation and garlic for maintaining a normal bacterial balance.
- Declared crude protein 19% and crude oils and fats 9%, on a linseed meal base.
- Omega state Respirair is highly palatable and competition legal.
Suitable For
- Horses in dusty stabling or on dusty forage.
- Older horses whose breathing labours in work.
- Horses in intense work through pollen season or a dry, dusty summer.
- A 42-day course on one horse, or 84 days on a pony.
- A supplement will not replace ventilation and dust control. Soaking or steaming forage and improving airflow come first.
Feeding
- Horses: 22g daily, two enclosed scoops.
- Ponies: 11g daily, one scoop.
- At those rates this 925g pot lasts approximately 42 days for a horse, or 84 days for a pony.
- Omega publish no separate loading rate for Respirair.
- Mix into the daily feed with fresh water always available.
- Omega also supply Respirair in a 1.85kg refill pouch, which they state lasts approximately 84 days for a horse.
