Omega Equine Garlic Granules for Horses – Natural Health Supplement, 3kg

Omega Equine Garlic Granules – 3kg
The 3kg bag is the yard size of Omega's UK-sourced garlic granules: 100 to 150 days for a single horse at the published rate, or a whole summer for three or four ponies. Buying the season in one bag is the sensible way to feed garlic, because it is only worth feeding consistently.
The granules themselves are identical to the 1kg pack — plain garlic, nothing blended in, carrying vitamin B, selenium and organic sulphur compounds. Omega feed ponies 10g to 20g a day and horses 20g to 30g.
Performance & Benefits
- Single-ingredient garlic granules, UK-sourced.
- Contains vitamin B, selenium and organic sulphur compounds.
- Omega describe it as a natural insect repellent, deterring biting insects such as flies, mosquitoes, ticks and midges.
- Omega also say it supports the immune system and healthy airways.
- Granulated rather than powdered, so it mixes in without dusting the feed room.
- 3kg bag — a season's supply for one horse, or several ponies.
Suitable For
- Yards feeding garlic to several horses through the fly season.
- One horse fed consistently from spring through to autumn.
- Owners who would rather reorder once a season than once a month.
- Horses and ponies bothered by midges, flies and biting insects.
- If you only want to try garlic, or have a single pony on a low rate, the Omega Equine Garlic Granules 1kg avoids a bag going stale.
Feeding
- Ponies: 10g to 20g per day.
- Horses: 20g to 30g per day.
- At those rates this 3kg bag lasts approximately 100 to 150 days for a horse, or 150 to 300 days for a pony.
- Mix into the daily feed. Introduce gradually — the smell puts some horses off at first.
- Omega also supply garlic granules in a 1kg bag.
Composition & Analysis
- Composition: garlic granules.
- 3kg bag.
Care & Caution
- Omega set a maximum of 30g a day for a horse. Do not exceed the published feeding rate — garlic is fed at a low rate for a reason, and more is not better.
- If your horse is on any veterinary medication, check with your vet before adding garlic to the diet.
