This tug pairs a length of nylon rope-style webbing with a metal chain core and finishes in a moulded vortex-shaped head fitted with a squeaker, so a dog gets a solid grip to pull against as well as a sound cue when the head is bitten. The nylon and chain combination is built to stand up to sustained tugging rather than fraying like a plain rope toy.
At 25 inches it gives two people, or one owner and a dog, plenty of length to hold at a safe distance during tug-of-war, and the blue and green colourway is easy to keep track of in grass or on a dark floor.
