Miracle-Gro EverGreen Multi Purpose Lawn Seed – 840g
A hard-wearing but fine-leaved mixture: half perennial ryegrass for wear tolerance, the other half fescues for density and a finer finish. At 30g per square metre the 840g box sows about 28m² of new lawn, or patches and overseeds around 33m².
First shoots show in about seven days given warmth and steady moisture. It is the general-purpose choice — not the fastest mixture Miracle-Gro make and not the shade one, but the one that copes with a family lawn being walked on.
Performance & Benefits

- The ryegrass gives wear tolerance; the fescues thicken the sward and keep the leaf fine.

Suitable For

- It is a lawn mixture, not a grazing ley — do not sow it as horse or pony pasture.
How to Use
- Rake: clear weeds and stones, turn the soil 15 to 22cm deep, then level and firm it.
- Shake: mix the seed in the box and sow in two passes at right angles — 30g per square metre for a new lawn, 25g for overseeding.
- Rake the seed lightly in and firm the surface.
- Water: soak with a fine spray and keep the soil moist for the next few weeks.
- Keep off the new grass until it has been topped once.
