KONG Stretchezz Jumbo Snow Leopard – XLarge (Extra-Long Squeaky Stretch Toy)
£12.79
KONG Stretchezz Jumbo Snow Leopard – XLarge
Stretchezz Jumbo are the long ones: a flat, stuffing-free plush body with stretchy panels running its length, so the animal extends when a dog takes hold of one end and recovers when it lets go. The snow leopard is the spotted cream-and-grey version, and at XLarge it is a substantial length of toy.
KONG no longer list the Stretchezz Jumbo, so this page claims no weight band, measurement or fabric composition for it — only what the toy demonstrably is. It squeaks, and there is nothing inside it to pull out and scatter.
Performance & Benefits
- Stuffing-free throughout, so there is nothing to empty onto the floor.
- Stretchy panels along the body give and recoil during tug.
- Squeaker built in.
- Extra-long XLarge body, easy to grab anywhere along its length.
- Flat shape drags and slides well, which suits chase games.
Suitable For
- Larger dogs that want a long toy to shake and drag.
- Interactive tug held at the tail end.
- Households that will not put up with stuffing on the carpet.
- Dogs that carry a toy about rather than chewing it to pieces.
- Too long for a small dog to lift clear of the floor — a Medium plush such as the KONG Phatz Hippo suits those better.
How to Use
- Take the tail and let the dog take the head; pull steadily rather than snatching.
- Drag it along the ground to start a chase.
- Sponge clean and hang to dry.
- Keep it in rotation rather than leaving it out all the time.
Specification
- Size XLarge, snow leopard character.
- Stuffing-free stretch plush with elasticated side panels and a squeaker.
- KONG UPC 035585396026.
- KONG no longer list the Stretchezz Jumbo range and publish no size band, dimensions or fabric composition for it, so none are stated here.
Care & Caution
- Stuffing-free is not chew-proof; the squeaker is still inside a fabric cover.
- Retire the toy once a seam opens rather than sewing it closed.
- Keep tug horizontal and steady.
- Supervise play and take the toy up afterwards.
