KM Elite Double Braided Lead Rope 7Ft - Pale Pink

KM Elite Double Braided Cotton Lead Rope – 7ft, Pale Pink
Pale pink in KM Elite's cotton double braid: a 7ft (2.13m) lead rope built round rather than flat, so it fills the hand properly. The braid is tight enough that the rope keeps its shape after months of use instead of going soft and floppy at the clip end.
It is a light shade and it will mark, so it suits a stabled or competition horse better than one that comes in caked to the knees. Pair it with the KM Elite Padded Headcollar in a matching colour if you want the set to look of a piece.
Performance & Benefits
- 7ft (2.13m) of round cotton in a tight double braid.
- Holds its shape and does not go limp where the clip is spliced in.
- Brass plated swivel bolt snap, corrosion resistant and free to swivel.
- Soft cotton hand-feel from the first use.
- One of the pale shades in the range, for a matching headcollar and rope set.
Suitable For
- Everyday leading and tying up.
- Stabled and competition horses that are turned out rugged and come in clean.
- Matching a pale pink KM Elite Padded Headcollar.
- Riders who want a soft rope rather than a stiff synthetic one.
- A poor choice for a horse living out in winter mud — a darker colour such as navy or the black and white braid stays presentable longer.
How to Use
- Clip the swivel bolt snap to the back ring of the headcollar, under the jaw.
- Lead from the near side with your hand about 30cm below the clip and the slack folded flat.
- Wash in warm water with a mild detergent; a pale rope needs it more often than a dark one.
- Hang by the clip to dry through, out of direct heat.
Specification
- Length 7ft (2.13m).
- Round cotton, tight double braided construction, pale pink.
- Brass plated swivel bolt snap, corrosion resistant and swivelling.
- SKU 1001918. Barcode 5060171233794.
- KM Elite publish no rope diameter, weight or breaking strain for this lead, so none is stated here.
Care & Caution
- Never wrap the rope around your hand, wrist or waist — a horse pulling away against cotton will burn skin badly.
- Tie to a loop of breakable baler twine with a quick-release knot, never directly to a solid fixed object.
- Do not leave a horse tied unattended, and remove the rope before turning out.
