Equus Health Nettle – 500g
Nettle is the classic spring herb of the feed room, and Equus Health describe it as a blood cleanser and conditioner that helps regulate body fluids. They list vitamin C, iron, sodium, chlorophyll, protein and dietary fibre among what the dried leaf carries, and say it can improve bloom and dappling on the coat.
This is the smaller of the two packs. At the published 25g a day, 500g runs for about twenty days, which makes it the sensible size for trying nettle on a horse for the first time or for a short spring course rather than year-round feeding.
