Pollen Eze is the summer member of Equine America's respiratory range, and the only one to carry spirulina and ginger root alongside the usual kelp, nettle and MSM. Fourteen actives are declared in a 30g loading serve, headed by 8,400mg of seaweed, 4,500mg of MSM and 4,200mg of nettle.

It is aimed squarely at horses that are fine in winter and struggle from May onwards — the ones that go tense, itchy and distracted as the pollen count climbs. Feeding starts at 30g for five days and halves to 15g, making a 500g tub roughly a 33-day supply through the season.

Feeding

• For a 500kg horse: 30g per day for the first five days, then 15g per day.
