Doggy Style Snuggler – Houndstooth Tan, Medium

The Snuggler is Doggy Style’s bolstered bed: a raised rim of thick cotton filling all the way round a flat sleeping pad, so a dog that curls has something to push its spine against and a dog that sprawls can hang its head over the edge. The cover is houndstooth cloth in tan, a soft woven fabric finished with velvet piping around the bolster.

The filling is cotton rather than shredded foam, which gives a denser, slower settle than a beanbag and keeps its shape when a dog treads it into a nest. A non-slip base holds it still on wood and tile, and the whole thing washes at 30°C. This is the Medium.

How to Use

• Stand the bed on a level floor, non-slip side down, out of a doorway and away from a radiator.
• Let a new dog find it in its own time rather than lifting it in — a bed a dog chooses gets used.
• Wash at 30°C and reshape the bolster by hand while it is still damp.
• Dry thoroughly before it goes back down; cotton filling holds water in the middle long after the cover feels dry.
