Natures Menu Country Hunter Superfood Bars – Salmon & White Fish with Cranberries & Kelp (7 x 100g)

Natures Menu Country Hunter Superfood Bars – Salmon & White Fish with Cranberries & Kelp

An air-dried treat bar built on two fish rather than one: salmon at 35% and white fish at 31%, so named fish makes up two thirds of the bar before anything else is counted. Cranberry and kelp come in at 4% each, which is where the superfood name comes from.

Air drying leaves the bar chewy rather than hard, so it tears into pieces easily for training without crumbling in a pocket. At 367 kcal per 100g it is a concentrated treat, and Natures Menu declare no additives in it at all.

Performance & Benefits

• Salmon 35% and white fish 31% — 66% named fish.
• Cranberry 4% and kelp 4%, with rice flour, glycerine and oat flakes binding the bar.
• Crude protein 30% and crude fat 17%, at 367 kcal per 100g.
• No declared additives of any kind, and no artificial colours or preservatives.
• Human-grade ingredients, with no meat meals or meat derivatives.
• Air-dried and chewy, so a bar breaks into training-sized pieces by hand.

Suitable For

• Dogs from four months of age onwards.
• Training and rewarding, where a bar can be torn into many small pieces.
• Dogs being kept off chicken, beef and lamb, since the only meats here are fish.
• Dogs that find a hard baked biscuit difficult to chew.
• Not grain free — rice flour and oat flakes are both in the recipe, so for a cereal-free option the Country Hunter Succulent Duck pouch is the alternative we stock.

Feeding

• A complementary treat, not a meal; feed alongside a complete diet.
• Break or cut the bar into pieces sized for the dog in front of you.
• Reduce the day's main ration to account for the calories in what you hand out.
• Keep fresh drinking water available.
• Natures Menu publish no daily bar allowance for this treat, so none is stated here; work to the dog's size and condition.
