Chudleys Lite Dry Dog Food – 14kg

Lite is the reduced-calorie diet in the Chudleys range, and the difference is in the oil: 5%, against 12% in Classic and 15% in Working Crunch. Protein stays up at 20% so a dog losing fat is not also losing muscle, and crude fibre is lifted to 5.5% with oats, barley, unmolassed beet pulp, alfalfa and peas doing the work.

Chudleys describe it as suited to dogs that gain weight easily or already carry too much. Carnitine is included to help the dog burn fat for energy, and the blend of functional fibres is there to help a smaller ration still feel like a meal. Cinnamon and carrots appear in the composition alongside the usual Chudleys botanical tail.

Suitable For

• Adult dogs carrying too much condition, on a supervised weight loss plan.

Feeding

• Small dogs, 5–10kg: 90–150g a day.
• Medium dogs, 10–25kg: 150–290g a day.
• Large dogs, 25–45kg: 290–445g a day.
• Very large dogs over 45kg: 445g and upwards.
• Feed to the dog's target weight, not its current one, and weigh the ration rather than scooping it.
• Split across two meals, keep fresh water available, and reassess condition every two to three weeks.

• Chudleys name this diet simply "Lite". They declare no chicken percentage and no vegetable percentage for it — poultry meal, rice, peas and carrots are named in the composition without an inclusion rate.
