Carr & Day & Martin Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Barrier – 500ml
The Daily Hoof Barrier is the waterproofing member of the Cornucrescine daily range. Carr & Day & Martin describe it as a one-way barrier: it stops the hoof taking up excessive water and urine from standing in wet bedding or deep mud, while still letting the horn breathe outwards.
That one-way behaviour is the point of it, and it is what separates this from the Daily Hoof Moisturiser, which does the opposite job in dry conditions. Use the Barrier when the ground is wet and the hoof is going soft and crumbly. It dries in minutes to a clear, non-sticky finish, and it comes with a brush built into the lid.

How to Use
- Make sure the hoof is clean, dry and free from oils and greases before you start.
- Apply daily with the internal brush to the hoof wall below the coronet band.
- Include the sole and frog if you want the whole foot covered.
- Apply before the horse goes out into wet or muddy conditions, not after.
- For damaged hooves, Carr & Day & Martin recommend using it alongside Cornucrescine Original Hoof Ointment.

If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
