Canter Coat Shine is the finishing spray in Carr & Day & Martin's coat range — an oil-free sheen that goes on in seconds and, on their figures, holds for up to seven days. It works on wet or dry hair, so it can go on straight out of the wash or over a dry coat five minutes before the lorry ramp comes down.

The sheen is not just cosmetic. A slick coat gives grass stains, mud and stable dirt much less to grip, and a light pass over the chest and shoulders reduces rug rubbing. It is also what makes quarter markings behave: comb them in over a treated coat and they hold their edges. One 500ml bottle covers roughly two months of normal use.
