Beco Plush Seagull Dog Toy Recycled Rough and Tough

Beco Rough & Tough Recycled Seagull Dog Toy
A plush seagull built to survive being shaken, with long dangling legs that give a dog something to grab and swing by. Beco make it from 83% recycled material — 42% recycled polypropylene stuffing, 26% recycled cotton, 15% recycled polyester and 17% conventional polyester.
It is put together more carefully than most soft toys: reinforced seams and a double layer of cloth, and a squeaker Beco describe as loud and puncture proof. That does not make it a chew toy, and Beco do not claim it is one — it is a toy for shaking, carrying and tugging.
Performance & Benefits
- 83% recycled content across stuffing, cotton and polyester
- Reinforced seams and double-layered cloth
- Long legs give a dog a natural grip for shaking and tugging
- Squeaker is loud and, Beco say, puncture proof
- Light enough to throw indoors without breaking anything
Suitable For
- Dogs that shake and carry rather than dismantle
- Gentle tug games and indoor play
- Households wanting recycled content in a soft toy
- Dogs that respond to a squeak more than a bounce
- Not for a dedicated de-stuffer — the Beco Treat Bone in natural rubber is the toy to leave with a heavy chewer
How to Use
- Use it for shaking, carrying and short tug games rather than solo chewing
- Put it away between sessions so it stays interesting
- Check the seams and the legs after rough play
- Surface wash and air dry; do not tumble dry
- Stop using it once the outer cloth is breached
Specification
- Material: 83% recycled — 42% recycled PP stuffing, 26% recycled cotton, 15% recycled polyester, 17% polyester
- Squeaker fitted, described by Beco as puncture proof
- Construction: reinforced seams, double-layered cloth
- Beco publish no dimensions or weight for this toy
- Not a product for children
Care & Caution
- A plush toy is not a chew toy — supervise, and take it away if the dog settles down to dismantle it
- Stuffing and the squeaker are both swallowable once the cloth is torn open; bin the toy at that point
- Contact a vet immediately if any part is swallowed
- Check the legs regularly; they take the most strain in a tug game
- Keep away from children
