Agrifence Megatape 20mm x 200m (White)

Agrifence Megatape White – 20mm x 200m

Megatape is the reinforced tier of Agrifence's tape range. The mesh and the edges are strengthened, and the conductive wires are both larger at 0.25mm and copper-infused, which is the part that matters over distance: a thicker, better-conducting wire loses less of the energiser's pulse between the first post and the last.

At 20mm white it is the width most people put on a semi-permanent horse fence — visible enough to be respected, narrow enough not to sail in wind on an exposed boundary. Agrifence rate the Megatape range for temporary and semi-permanent fencing and for small to medium perimeter fences.

Performance & Benefits

• Reinforced mesh and reinforced edges, so the tape frays less at insulators.
• Larger 0.25mm conductive wires, copper-infused for better conductivity.
• 20mm width, a practical balance of visibility and wind load.
• 200m roll, white.
• Rated by Agrifence for small to medium perimeter fences, not only temporary lines.
• A clear step up from the stainless-only Easytape at the same width.

Suitable For

• Semi-permanent horse and pony paddocks.
• Small to medium perimeter fences.
• Longer fence lines where voltage drop is a real concern.
• Large paddocks that stay fenced the same way season after season.
• More tape than a two-day strip line needs — the Agrifence Easytape 20mm is the cheaper choice for fencing you move constantly.

How to Use

• Run the tape through tape insulators rated for 20mm.
• Join rolls with a 20mm tape clamp, not a knot.
• Tension to firm and check again after the first week of weather.
• Switch the energiser off before any work on the line.
• Test voltage at the far end of the run once the fence is live.

Specification

• 20mm wide, 200m roll, white.
• Reinforced mesh and edges, 0.25mm copper-infused conductive wires.
• Agrifence product code H4758. Barcode 5052150001333.
• Megatape is also made in 12mm and 40mm widths, in white and green, and in 500m rolls.
• Agrifence publish no resistance figure and no conductivity multiple. Claims that Megatape is up to twenty times more conductive than standard polytape, and descriptions of a mix of stainless steel, tin-plated copper and galvanised steel wires, appear on retail listings but are not Agrifence's own wording.
