Agrifence Megarope Premium Fence Rope – 200m
£68.95
Agrifence Megarope – 6mm Premium Fence Rope, 200m
Megarope is built the other way round from most fence rope: the conductive material sits on the outside of the braid rather than buried in it, so the animal's nose or shoulder meets the conductor directly. Agrifence's own note on it is blunt — very good electrical contact with the animal, and ideal for animals who like to test fences.
That makes it the rope for the horse who leans, the pony who ducks under, and the field that has already taught you which one that is. It is a 6mm white cord on a 200m coil, and Agrifence rate it for medium to long fences in all conditions rather than only in fine weather.
Performance & Benefits
- Conductive material on the outside of the rope, for direct contact with the animal.
- Agrifence's stated choice for animals that test fences.
- 6mm diameter, white, 200m coil.
- Rated for medium to long fence lines in all conditions.
- Minimal wind load, so it stays put on exposed boundaries.
- Premium tier above the everyday Easyrope in the same diameter.
Suitable For
- Horses and ponies that push, lean on or duck under fences.
- Medium to long fence lines.
- Exposed sites in poor weather, where Agrifence rate it for all conditions.
- Owners upgrading a line that is not commanding enough respect.
- More rope than a two-day strip line needs — the Agrifence Easyrope 6mm is the everyday option for fencing you move constantly.
How to Use
- Run through 6mm rope or ring insulators along the line.
- Avoid knots in the rope; use a proper rope connector at joins.
- Tension evenly so the rope hangs straight without being strained.
- Isolate the energiser before fitting or repairing a run.
- Check voltage at the end of a long line once the fence is live.
Specification
- 6mm diameter, 200m coil, white.
- Conductive material carried on the outside of the rope.
- Agrifence product code H4769. Barcode 5052150001302.
- Also supplied by Agrifence in a 500m coil.
