Agrifence Easyrope 6 – White 6mm x 200m
Rope behaves differently from tape on a fence line. It presents almost no surface to the wind, so it sits still on an exposed site where tape flaps and drags at the posts, and a 6mm cord is thick enough for a horse to see and to feel when it meets it. Easyrope is Agrifence's everyday version — strong poly rope with high-quality stainless steel wires running through it.
A 200m coil covers a long paddock side or several shorter divisions. Agrifence sell it for rotational grazing, temporary fencing and everyday paddock management, and the stainless conductors are what keep it working through a wet British winter rather than corroding quietly inside the braid.
Performance & Benefits
- 6mm diameter, thick enough to be seen and felt by horses.
- Strong poly rope with high-quality stainless steel wires throughout.
- Very little wind load compared with tape of equivalent visibility.
- 200m coil, white.
- Weather resistant, built for British conditions.
- Stainless conductors resist corrosion in persistent damp.
Suitable For
- Exposed and windy sites where tape is a nuisance.
- Rotational grazing and temporary paddock divisions.
- Horses and ponies on everyday paddock management.
- Owners who prefer rope's neater look along a boundary.
- Not the rope for a long perimeter where power must reach the far end — the Agrifence Megarope carries its conductors on the outside for better contact and longer runs.
How to Use
- Run the rope through rope or ring insulators sized for 6mm.
- Do not tie knots in the rope. Agrifence advise against it, because a knot reduces conductivity along the line.
- Join runs with a proper rope connector instead of a knot.
- Tension to firm, leaving a little give for weather.
- Switch the energiser off before working on the line.
Specification
- 6mm diameter, 200m, white.
- Poly rope with stainless steel wires throughout.
- Agrifence product code H4605. Barcode 5052150002118.
- Agrifence also make Easyrope 6 in green.
- Agrifence publish no breaking strain, resistance figure or conductor count for Easyrope, so none is given here.
