The Small Flyer measures 17.8cm across and 1.9cm deep, and weighs 122g — a little over half the Large. KONG size it for dogs up to about 20 lb (roughly 9kg), which is the band where a full-sized disc is simply too wide for the dog to get its jaws round.

It is the same red Classic rubber as its bigger sibling, so it behaves the same way: it gives when caught, and it kicks back off the turf when a throw is missed. The smaller diameter also means a lower, shorter flight, which is better for a little dog's joints.
