Most of the Whimzees range is sculpted to be interesting; the Veggie Ear is shaped to be familiar. It copies the flat, slightly curled outline of a pig's ear, which is a format a great many dogs already know, and sets it on the same knobbly, grooved surface the rest of the range uses for cleaning.

Whimzees publish it at 176 kcal an ear with a declared fat content of 2.0%, and call it low fat in their own words. The recipe runs to seven ingredients, the shortest in the range, with no added colour.
