SPILLERS Spearmint Horse Treats – 1kg
A 1kg bag of bite-sized spearmint treats. Mint is the flavour horses accept most reliably of any, which is why it turns up as a palatability aid in so many feeds and supplements, and it is the one to reach for with a horse that eyes a new treat suspiciously.
The recipe is simple — grass nuts and wheat with mint, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate and sodium bicarbonate — and like the rest of the Spillers treats it is a complementary feed with a 200g daily ceiling rather than something to hand over by the fistful.

Feeding
- Give one or two treats at a time.
- Complementary feed for equines: use alongside compound feed and forage, up to 200g a day.
- Do not feed to any animal other than a horse or pony.
- Keep forage and clean water available as normal.

Care & Caution
- The recipe contains molasses and wheat and no sugar figure is published, so these are not suitable for a horse or pony prone to laminitis or with diagnosed insulin dysregulation.
- Mint is palatable enough that some horses become pushy about it. Feed from a bucket rather than the hand if your horse starts nipping for them.

When your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier’s website.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
