SPILLERS Meadow Herb & Glucosamine Horse Treats – 1kg
The twelve-herb meadow treat with glucosamine hydrochloride added, in a 1kg bag. It is aimed at the older horse that gets a handful of treats a day anyway, on the reasonable principle that if you are going to hand something over, it may as well be pointed in a useful direction.
Spillers publish no glucosamine inclusion level for the treats, and one or two treats at a time is a fraction of what a joint supplement delivers — Spillers Flex, by comparison, states 12g of glucosamine per 100g. Buy these as a treat with a nod towards joints, not as a treatment.

Feeding
- Give one or two treats at a time.
- Complementary feed for equines: use alongside compound feed and forage, up to 200g a day.
- Do not feed to any animal other than a horse or pony.
- Keep forage and clean water available as normal.
Composition & Analysis
- Composition: grass nuts, wheat, molasses, wheatfeed, dried herbs, rapeseed oil, glucosamine HCl, mint.
- Herb blend: balm herb, mint, dandelion, marjoram, golden rod, nettle, parsley, sage, clover, garlic, oregano and rosemary.
- Spillers publish no typical analysis for their treats and no glucosamine inclusion level, and direct owners to the Care-Line for a full nutrient analysis. No figures are invented here.
- 1kg bag.
Care & Caution
- The recipe contains molasses and wheat and no sugar figure is published, so these are not suitable for a horse or pony prone to laminitis or with diagnosed insulin dysregulation.
- Persistent stiffness or lameness needs a vet. Feeding a glucosamine treat is not a reason to put off having a horse looked at.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
