SPILLERS Meadow Herb & Biotin Horse Treats – 1kg

A 1kg bag of the twelve-herb meadow treat with biotin added. The herb blend is the same one Spillers use across the Meadow Herb treats — balm herb, mint, dandelion, marjoram, golden rod, nettle, parsley, sage, clover, garlic, oregano and rosemary — with biotin included on top for hoof horn.

Be clear-eyed about the biotin. Spillers do not publish an inclusion level for it, and a treat fed one or two at a time cannot deliver what a hoof supplement does. What it can do is make a treat you were giving anyway slightly more useful than a plain one. A single 1kg bag is the size to buy to find out whether your horse likes them.

Feeding

• Give one or two treats at a time.
• Complementary feed for equines: use alongside compound feed and forage, up to 200g a day.
• Do not feed to any animal other than a horse or pony.
• Keep forage and clean water available as normal.
