At one scoop a day the 1.3kg tub covers roughly 84 days, which makes it the sensible size for a single horse on a season-long course. Omega's rate is half a scoop to one scoop normally, rising to one or two scoops through a period of stress, so the tub can stretch to about five months or shorten to six weeks depending on how you feed it.

Feeding

• Normal use: half a scoop to one scoop daily. The enclosed scoop holds 15.5g.
• During periods of stress: one to two scoops daily.
