Norah's Fruit & Berry Mix is an 80g pack of dried fruit and berry pieces sold as a treat for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small herbivores and rodents. Dried fruit is the sweetest thing most of these animals will ever be offered, which is exactly why it works as a reward and exactly why the pack lasts a long time.

The pieces are large enough to hand over one at a time, or to scatter through hay and bedding so the animal has to hunt for them. Scattering is the better use: it spreads the sugar across the day and gives a caged animal something to do, rather than putting the lot in a bowl at once.

Care & Caution

• Whole dried pieces are best given under supervision to very small animals such as dwarf hamsters, who will pouch more than they can manage.
