The husks have already been taken off everything in this bag, which is the whole point of it. What lands under the feeder is food a dunnock or a blackbird will finish, rather than the drift of sunflower shells that kills a patch of lawn by March.
Two kilos suits a patio, a balcony or a single feeder — anywhere the mess underneath is the thing that puts you off feeding at all. It is the same blend as the 4kg bag and the 12.55kg sack, so moving up later changes nothing for the birds.

Feeding
- Use in a tube feeder, on a bird table or scattered on paving.
- Feed all year, and keep it regular once you start.
- Empty and refill rather than topping up over old feed.
- Clean feeders and tables with a bird-safe hygiene spray and clear away damp feed.
- Keep fresh, clean water available every day.

If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
