Anco Naturals Puffed Rabbit Ears – 100g
The same rabbit ears as Anco's hairy version, but with the fur off and puffed instead of air-dried, which turns them light and crisp. A puffed ear disintegrates in the mouth rather than needing to be worked, so it is the gentler of the two rabbit ears and the one to pick for a dog that cannot manage anything abrasive.
Puffing also takes the fat down: Anco declare 22.1% against 33.1% for the hairy ears, with protein at 42.4% and crude ash at 1.9%. Rabbit ear cartilage supplies glucosamine and chondroitin naturally, and Anco describe the ears as low in cholesterol and high in chondroitin.
