Westland Decorative Mini Bark is a small-grade bark mulch, screened to a fine, even chip so it spreads neatly around plants and between shrubs rather than sitting in large chunky pieces.

Spread over the surface of a bed, it does two jobs at once: it gives the border a tidy, finished look and it forms a physical layer that slows moisture loss and makes life harder for weed seedlings.

How to Use

• Weed and water the area thoroughly before mulching - bark holds conditions as it finds them
• Spread an even layer of 5 to 7.5cm over the soil surface
• Keep the bark clear of plant stems and tree trunks to avoid rot at the collar
• Top up as the layer settles and thins, usually once a year
