The Big Cheese Rat Killer Grain Bait – 150g Sachet

A single 150g sachet of ready-for-use grain bait for rats in and around buildings. The sachet is the point: rats gnaw straight through it, so the bait is pre-measured, goes into the station in one piece, and never has to be poured, weighed or touched.

The active is difenacoum, an anticoagulant, in a grain carrier STV build from food-grade materials, flavours and preservatives so it competes with everything else a feed store has on offer. STV state the current formulation uses 50% less poison than the versions it replaced and kills in just a few feeds.

How to Use

• Place the whole sachet inside a tamper-resistant bait station. Using a rodenticide outside a station is not permitted.
• Site the station where rats are active — along walls, near runs, droppings or burrow entrances.
• Wear gloves throughout, both for your safety and to keep scent off the station.
• Check every few days, replace bait while it is being taken, and stop baiting once activity ends.
• Remove all remaining bait and stations at the end of the treatment.

Care & Caution

• This is a poison. It must be used inside a tamper-resistant bait station, out of reach of children, pets, livestock and non-target wildlife.
• Collect and dispose of dead rodents. A cat, dog, fox or owl that eats a poisoned rat can be poisoned in turn.
• If a child or an animal swallows bait, contact a doctor or vet immediately and take the packaging with you. Anticoagulant poisoning is treatable if it is caught early.
• Store the sachet in its original packaging, away from feed, bedding, water and food.
• Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
