Stockshop Heat Lamp Holder
A heat lamp holder built to carry an infrared brooding bulb safely above a pen. The ceramic lamp socket withstands the sustained high temperatures that an infrared bulb produces, which ordinary plastic fittings are not designed for, and the shade directs the heat downward onto the stock instead of letting it disperse.
It is supplied ready to hang, so it can be suspended over a brooding or farrowing area and raised or lowered to set the temperature at floor level. Paired with a screw-fitting infrared bulb it forms a complete brooding lamp.

How to Use
- Fit a screw-type infrared bulb with the power off at the socket
- Suspend from a chain or adjustable cable attached to a secure overhead fixing
- Never take the weight of the lamp on the electrical flex
- Set the initial height at roughly 45 to 50cm above bedding, then adjust by watching the stock
- Raise the lamp gradually as the animals grow

Care & Caution
- Isolate the power and let the unit cool before handling or changing a bulb
- Keep the lamp and its cable well clear of straw, shavings and cobwebs
- Always use a safety chain to a sound fixing, never the cable alone
- Do not exceed the wattage the holder is rated for
- Inspect the cable, plug and socket regularly and withdraw from use if damaged

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
