Stockshop 250W Screw Type Infrared Bulb
A 250 watt infrared heat bulb with a standard screw fitting, made to give steady radiant warmth to young or vulnerable stock. Infrared output heats the animals and their bedding directly rather than warming the surrounding air, which makes it an efficient way to hold temperature in a brooding pen or a farrowing area.
The screw cap fits any compatible ceramic heat lamp holder, so it works as a straight replacement bulb in an existing setup or alongside a new holder. Temperature at floor level is controlled by raising or lowering the lamp rather than by switching the bulb.

How to Use
- Fit the bulb into a ceramic heat lamp holder rated for at least 250W
- Suspend the lamp from a chain or adjustable cable, never by the electrical flex
- Start around 45 to 50cm above bedding level, then adjust
- Read the stock: huddling tight underneath means too cold, spreading to the pen edges means too warm
- Raise the lamp gradually as young stock grow and need less heat

- Always suspend from a secure fixing with a safety chain, never from the cable
- Do not use a bulb with cracked or chipped glass
- Protect from water and splashing, and check the holder and wiring regularly

If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
