SoloGroom SoloBrush – Twist-Clean Grooming Brush
The SoloBrush solves the small, daily annoyance of a grooming brush: the mat of hair that packs down between the bristles and has to be picked out with your fingers. Here the head twists, the bristles splay, and the hair drops out in one piece. Twist it back and you carry on brushing.
The bristles themselves are malleable rather than stiff, so they flex through the coat and work on the skin as they go, which is why SoloGroom sell it as much for the massage as for the hair it lifts. A contoured handle with a Velcro strap takes the grip out of your fingers, useful on a long session or with cold hands in a January yard.
Performance & Benefits
- Twist action releases trapped hair from between the bristles in one movement — no picking it out by hand.
- Malleable bristles that flex through the coat and massage the skin rather than scraping it.
- Contoured handle with a Velcro strap, so the brush stays put without being gripped hard.
- Easy to clean between animals, which matters where a brush is shared.
- SoloGroom describe the range as humane grooming, intended for animals that dislike being done.
Suitable For
- Horses and ponies, for everyday body brushing.
- Dogs and cats, on short and medium coats.
- Anyone who grooms several animals and wants the brush emptied between them.
- Handlers with weak grip or arthritic hands, thanks to the strap.
- Not a de-shedding tool for a thick, dead winter coat — the SoloGroom SoloRake is the one for stripping that out.
How to Use
- Slip your hand under the Velcro strap and adjust it so the brush sits flat against your palm.
- Brush with the lie of the coat, using light pressure and letting the bristles flex.
- When the bristles fill, twist the head to drop the hair clear, then twist back and carry on.
- Rinse in warm water and let it dry naturally.
Specification
- Twist-clean grooming brush with malleable bristles and a contoured handle.
- Velcro hand strap fitted to the handle.
- SoloGroom publish no dimensions, weight or material specification for the SoloBrush, so none is stated here.
