A tie ring on a backplate is the proper way to give a horse a fixed tying point - the plate spreads the load across more than one fixing rather than relying on a single screw eye.

How to Use

• Fix to sound, solid masonry or timber using fixings rated for the load
• Mount at roughly the height of the horse's withers
• Always tie to a breakable loop of string on the ring, never directly to the ring
• Use a quick-release knot every time
• Check the fixings and the ring regularly
