Known as “healthy hay”, sainfoin is a premium forage alternative to lucerne and grass. Highly palatable and versatile, it can be fed whole and dry to mimic grazing, offering both nutrition and environmental enrichment. The condensed tannins naturally present in sainfoin help improve protein digestion, making it especially beneficial when fed alongside hay or grass.
