Connolly’s RED MILLS Competition 12 Mix is an oat-based, traditional muesli feed developed for horses requiring fast-release energy. It is particularly suited to horses in moderate, hard, or intense work, including those competing regularly or needing greater energy provision to maintain performance and condition.

The mix combines steam-cooked oat, maize, and barley flakes with fibre sources, protein ingredients, oil, and a complete vitamin-and-mineral package. Its 12% crude protein content helps support the increased nutritional demands placed on muscles and tissues during higher levels of work, while its 12.0 MJ/kg digestible energy makes it a useful option for active horses that benefit from a more energy-dense ration.

Feed alongside plenty of quality forage, adjusting the daily amount to your horse’s bodyweight, workload, temperament, condition, turnout, and the quality of available grazing or hay.

Feeding Recommendation:
