QuickSoak is an unmolassed sugar beet pulp in flake form, sold in a 20kg bag. Flaked beet takes up water far faster than shredded or pelleted beet, which is what makes a same-feed soak possible rather than an overnight job — the practical reason most yards move to a flake.

Soaked beet pulp is a highly digestible fibre source that most horses find palatable, and unmolassed means the sugar added back at processing has been left out. It is fed as part of a ration alongside forage, not as a forage replacement in itself.

Care & Caution

• Sugar beet must be fully soaked before feeding. Dry or partly soaked beet swells in the gut and is a recognised cause of choke and impaction colic.
