Sulphate of iron is used on lawns to green up the grass and to harden the surface against moss, and in the border to correct iron shortage on acid-loving plants.
It is the traditional lawn tonic: applied correctly it darkens the grass within days, which is why it remains in use long after more complicated products appeared.

How to Use
- Apply at the rate printed on the pack, measuring carefully
- Distribute as evenly as possible, as uneven application shows as stripes on a lawn
- Water in thoroughly after application
- Reseal and store dry; the product absorbs moisture and cakes
