Kelkay Horticultural Alpine Grit is a free-draining decorative gravel widely used by gardeners to improve drainage around alpine plants, in pots and as an attractive topdressing for borders.
Its angular, well-graded structure makes it particularly useful for gardeners growing plants that dislike sitting in wet soil, as well as for general decorative use around the garden.

A free-draining, angular grit that helps prevent waterlogging around plant roots while providing a neat, decorative finish to beds, pots and rockeries.
Suitable For
Alpine and rockery planting, pot topdressing, and general decorative garden use where improved drainage is beneficial.
How to Use
Mix into planting soil to improve drainage, or apply as a topdressing layer around plants at a depth of a few centimetres.

Handle with gloves to avoid sharp edges on the grit. Store in a dry area if not used immediately to prevent the bag splitting.
