A safety headcollar designed to be left on in the field, the Hy Fieldsafe uses a breakaway element so that the headcollar releases if the horse becomes caught on a fence, gate or hedge.

This is the Full size in black, suited to horses of around 15.2hh and upwards. The webbing is soft-edged and padded at the headpiece and noseband for everyday comfort.

How to Use

• Fit the headcollar so two fingers pass comfortably under the noseband and headpiece
• Check that the breakaway section is correctly seated before turning out
• Inspect the breakaway element after any incident and replace the headcollar if it has parted
• Check the fit regularly as the horse changes condition through the year

Care & Caution
