Hozelock Maxi Plus Starter Hose – 15m x 12.5mm Garden Hose Pipe
£34.99
Hozelock Starter Hose Set – 15m x 12.5mm
Fifteen metres of 12.5mm (half-inch) hose supplied as a starter set with the connectors needed to get it onto a tap and a spray gun. It is the sensible first hose for a small garden, or for a yard where the tap is close to the work.
Hozelock build their 12.5mm hose in four layers around a braided reinforcement, which is what stops it folding flat when you drag it round a corner, and treat it against UV and frost so it does not go brittle on the reel. The hose carries a ten-year guarantee.
Performance & Benefits
- 15m length in 12.5mm (half-inch) bore — enough reach for a small garden or a yard tap.
- Four durable layers including braided reinforcement, reducing the risk of kinking or bursting.
- UV-resistant, so it does not perish where it is left out in the sun.
- Frost-protected against cracking in cold weather.
- Smooth inner layer keeps the flow up over the length of the run.
- Ten-year Hozelock guarantee on the hose.
Suitable For
- Small and medium gardens where the tap is reasonably central.
- Yards and stable blocks, for filling buckets and hosing down.
- A first hose, or a short second hose kept near the muck heap.
- Anyone who wants a hose supplied ready to connect rather than buying fittings separately.
- 15m is short for a long paddock run. Pair it with the Hozelock Multi Plus Metal Spray Gun for reach at the business end, or step up to a longer hose if the tap sits at one end of the property.
How to Use
- Fit the tap connector to the outside tap, then push the hose connector on until it clicks.
- Connect a spray gun or nozzle to the free end.
- Turn the water on slowly the first time and check each joint for weeping.
- Unroll the full length before use rather than running water through a coiled hose.
- Drain it down and store it under cover before the first frosts.
Specification
- Length 15m. Bore 12.5mm (half-inch).
- Four durable layers including braided reinforcement.
- UV-resistant and frost-protected.
- Guarantee: 10 years.
- Barcode 5010646053167, which corresponds to Hozelock’s older 7215 Starter Hose code. Hozelock now list this hose as the Select Hose, and they publish no fittings list for the starter set, so none is given here.
