House of Paws Fleece Lined Dog Gilet – Navy, Small
A gilet rather than a coat, which is the whole point of it: the legs stay free, and it goes on over the head and fastens along the body rather than needing four feet threaded through holes. For a dog that objects to being dressed, that difference decides whether the thing gets worn.
House of Paws describe it as warm without restricting movement, and light enough for everyday wear. Small is a 30cm back length — measured from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, which is the measurement House of Paws tell you to take.
Performance & Benefits
- Fleece lined, so the warmth comes from the lining rather than bulk.
- Lightweight and easy to put on and take off.
- Gilet cut leaves the legs completely free.
- Designed for warmth without restricting movement.
- Navy, which does not show mud the way a pale coat does.
- Small size: 30cm back length.
Suitable For
- Small, short-coated and fine-coated dogs that feel the cold.
- Older dogs on shorter, slower walks.
- Dogs that resist a full coat with leg openings.
- Everyday dry-weather wear rather than heavy rain.
- Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail: House of Paws also make Medium 35cm, Large 40cm and X Large 45cm.
How to Use
- Measure the dog’s back before ordering rather than guessing by breed.
- Put it on over the head and fasten it along the body.
- Check the fit around the chest — it should be snug without pulling.
- House of Paws publish no washing instructions; owners report it washes and dries quickly.
Specification
- Colour navy. Size small, 30cm back length.
- Fleece lining. House of Paws publish no outer fabric composition, so none is stated here.
- Also made in Medium 35cm, Large 40cm and X Large 45cm.
- Earlier copy on this page described an adjustable base toggle. House of Paws do not describe one, so it is not claimed here.
- The same gilet is also made in green.
