Gor Pets Wrapid Jacket – 20in (50cm), Blue

The Wrapid Jacket solves a specific problem: dogs that will not have anything pulled over their head. It wraps on from the back and fastens with hook-and-loop at the neck and girth, so a dog that flinches at a jumper-style coat can be dressed in a few seconds without anything going over its ears.

It is water-resistant and fleece-lined, with a lead eyelet in the back panel. This is the 20in, which is a 50cm back length measured from the base of the neck to the base of the tail; neck and chest are adjustable on the straps.

How to Use

• Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail and pick the size closest to that figure.
• Lay the jacket along the back, fasten the neck strap, then bring the girth strap under and fasten it.
• Allow two fingers under each strap. Overtightening the girth strap restricts the front leg.
• Pass the lead through the back eyelet to a collar or harness underneath.
• Machine wash at 30°C and dry naturally rather than on a radiator.

Care & Caution

• Remove the jacket indoors, in the car and before crating — hook-and-loop straps snag on crate bars, seat belts and other dogs' collars.
• Do not leave it on a soaked dog; wet fleece against the skin makes a dog colder, not warmer.
• Check the girth strap has not worked tight behind the front legs on a long walk.
• The back eyelet is there for a lead to pass through to a collar or harness. It is not a restraint point and should not be clipped to.
