The Nordic Crate Mat is the plain, soft-topped mat in the Gor Pets crate range — no cover to unzip, no waterproof membrane, just a thick pile surface on a non-slip base that goes in the washing machine whole. The Small is 61 × 46cm, which is the base size of a standard small crate.

At this size it is as much a carrier mat as a crate mat: it fits the floor of a plastic travel box, a cat carrier or a puppy crate, and it rolls up small enough to live in a bag. Grey is the quieter of the two colourways.

How to Use

• Lay the mat flat in the crate with the non-slip backing downwards.
• Shake it out well before washing to get loose hair off the pile.
• Machine wash at 40°C. Wash it on its own; a full mat of this pile takes up a drum.
• Dry flat and let it dry through completely before putting it back in a crate.
